If you live in or near Midland, NC, and you have gently-used children’s clothing, toys, or homeschool supplies that you no longer use (and that you would like to make some money on), consigning with us is a smart move. At Crossroads Consignment, we help families across Stanly, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and Union Counties make the most of their unused items in ways that benefit others!

Step 1: What We Accept

We specialize in the resale of homeschool and family essentials, including:

• Children’s clothing (NB–16/18) — Clean, modern, and in excellent condition
• Toys and baby gear — Fully functional, clean, and complete
• Homeschool books and educational curriculum — From PreK to high school
• Kids’ books and learning materials — Especially high-demand educational series

Not Accepted: Items from free programs (e.g., Dolly Parton Imagination Library, kid's meal toys, etc.), damaged goods, or overly worn items.

Step 2: Prepare to Drop Off

For the best success:

• Check our website to see what items we are currently accepting
• Wash and fold clothing neatly
• Remove pet hair, stains, and odors
• Test all electronics and toys (working batteries required or $2 fee per battery)
• Bundle curriculum by subject or grade for easier browsing

Step 3: Drop Off Your Items In-Store

Bring your items to our family-run store during business hours:

• Tuesday–Friday: 11 AM – 5 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM – 3 PM
• Closed Sunday & Monday

Step 4: Earn Money or Store Credit

We price, tag, and display your items in-store, and sometimes homeschool items online. Once sold, you’ll earn a portion of the sale. Choose store credit to save even more on your next purchase or opt for a check or direct deposit payout.
